Firehbbtv as an Hbbtv emulator

0

I am building a web application for Hbbtv.
I am using Firehbbtv as the emulator.
My problem is:
when I open the index.html on firefox, it displays me the output.
and then when I click on firehbbtv, it displays an error message that the XML document doesn't have any styling.
Why is it showing "XML" when my file is actually HTML.
Also is it the right way to use the firehbbtv add-on.
Or is there any tutorial that helps me understand how to work with firehbbtv
