usage of -XX:+UseParallelGC in hadoop datanodes
I read in https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.8.4/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-common/ClusterSetup.html that is possible to use -XX:+UseParallelGC in namenode, but what about datanodes? Is it correct to add -XX:+UseParallelGC in datanodes too through following istruction in hadoop-env.sh ?
export HADOOP_DATANODE_OPTS="-XX:+UseParallelGC $HADOOP_DATANODE_OPTS"
