Sprin security and CSRF cookie

0

I had a problem with a POST request from a standalone reactjs app and Spring security because of a CSRF token missing. I found that solution here that add the Token as a cookie. But is that solution really safe ? I mean is there a risk that this token is send with the session cookie if I click on a link to the same domain where I'm logged from an attacker page ? Because I guess it is sent when I submit the form, the tokken is not in a hidden field in my form.

Invalid CSRF Token in POST request
