Isses with google app script code to copy and past data from cells to another cell depending on the first...
I am trying to create a script that would allow me to copy a range of cells ( B4:F6) and past them in table in the same sheet with condition that the current date on cell (A4) will match date column ( A:8 - A: 500)
The script would copy the data from cells ( B4:F6) and past them on the right side of cells that match the date
The original date would be on Cell A4, and the table where i will store the data would go from A8: to F:500
I am really new to java, so i need some help as the code i created so far is not working;
function CopyTrack2() {
var ss = SpreadsheetApp.getActive()
var source = ss.getRange('B4:F4').getValues();
var S = ss.getRange('A8:A500');
var Y = ss.getRange('A8:A500').getValues();
var Destination = ss.getRange('B8:F500');
var X = 'A4';
var H = S.length;
for (var i =0;i<H;i++) {
if ( X == Y) {
source.copyTo(Destination.getRange('B8:F500'),{contentsOnly:true});
"" + ""
}
}
}
