ios dynamic framework and undefined symbol
We have a dynamic framework having mix C and .m files. We export a function like following
extern "C" __attribute__ ((visibility ("default"))) void * my_exported_function() {
...
}
We link & embed this framework in an app and we are able to use my_exported_function() from obj-c (.m) file. The app 'MyApp' compiles and run fine. All good so far.
The problem comes if we use exported function in a library and add that library to project. For example, we also have a static library libsome.a. If this library also uses the same function my_exported_function() and then if we add this library to 'MyApp', it gives linker error for not able to find my_exported_function() .
This is very strange since in first case, MyApp compiles fine. Any idea?
