Updating an already delivered notification lying in the tray ios?

0

I, very well, know how to update content of a newly delivered notification using notification service extension, but I want to update an already delivered notification when a new notification arrives.

My Current Use Case

A user has a notification in his tray which says - "Tom, Dick and Harry are playing Cricket".

Now Tom quits playing Cricket and starts playing Football.

The user gets another notification - "Tom is playing Football".

Notification service extension is invoked and I want to update the previous notification as well.

Final desirable result

  1. "Tom is playing Football"

  2. "Dick and Harry are playing Cricket"

How do I do that?
