I'm trying to make a Universal Quantifier Query but it won't execute my subquery

0

Get the player name and year of players who scored a at least 30 points for all seasons appearing within the DB.

My tables include (and more but they aren't included in this particular query):

vPlayers

  • player_name

  • player_id

  • hometown

  • player_salary

  • pSponsor_num

  • team_num

  • position

  • year

  • player_num

vPlayer_Stats

  • Points

  • Assists

  • Rebounds

  • Steals

  • Blocks

  • Turnovers

  • player_id

  • year

  • stat_id

In my DB i have players who are repeated, they are identified by a shared player_num (shared with one another) and separated by a unique player_id. I cannot figure out how to get the SQL to realize that if both appearance of a certain player didn't score at least 30, then both are not to be included. All this while still checking if non-duplicates are scoring at least 30. I'm not sure what technical term there is for this so I apologize if this question has been asked already. If I made any mistakes, I am still new to stackoverflow, please let me know before down-voting, thanks.

  • Add some sample rows of data from each table and show the expected result, all in tabular format (text), which fits your explanation. Please edit your question to add it and don't put them in the comments and no images, please.
