how to use sumology python package to download the data from sumologic?

0

I am just trying to use sumologic python package (https://github.com/SumoLogic/sumologic-python-sdk) to download more than 10000 data from sumologic data. But I did not know this at all before. So I do not even know where to start.

Now I have this package installed. And what I want is:

  1. Specify a particular period such as 2018.11.20 - 2018.11.21

  2. Specify the fields that I need for example CustomerID, Date, TransID, etc.

  3. Save the result as a csv or txt file.

Could anyone give me a example with as many details as possible? I am sorry if this question looks not very clear but I really do not know how to use this package.
