Multiple response type when calling a service using restTemplate
I have a service invoked using restTemplate.
It gives back a json response which is being parsed, but some times the service gives an html response,
What is the best way to parse those ?
CustomClass res = restTemplate.getForEntity(URI.create(url),CustomClass.class).getBody();
This was working find, but sometimes the url gives an html response,
in which case the parsing fails,
What is the best way to parse the result ?
1 . if the response is json, i can use Gson
2. If the response is html, what would be the best way ?
Thanks,
Parameswar
