Saving a video from URL to app internal storage and playing it

I have a URL which opens a video. When user clicks play button it saves the video to app internal storage while streaming for the first time. Next time when user clicks play button, it opens the video from internal storage and doesn't stream again and again. How to achieve this ?

Like any programming problem it is broken down into steps. What step in this process do you need assistance with first?

To be precise, I only need assistance with saving the video in app internal storage while video is streamed for the first time. Next onwards whenever video is tried to play, it doesn't stream, it only fetches the video from internal storage. I want assistance with saving and re fetching the video from internal storage.
