Correct second unit symbol on LaTEX siunits

0

I am using the siunitx package on LaTEX.

usepackage[digitsep={,},group-separator={.}]{siunitx}
usepackage{sistyle}
SIthousandsep{,}

If I write $1~si{second}$ prints me the correct 1 s, but if I use $SI{1}{second}$ returns me 1" (like arcsecond). Why this different interpretation and how to fix it?

  • My latex spits "incompatible package" for sistyle (apparently you cannot use it with siunitx), but prints the correct 1s for both commands if I only import siunitx...
