Using Salsa20 without the Poly1305 MAC?
I need to do symmetric private key encryption on pieces of specific size. That means that input stream must have same size as output stream. I am using libnacl/libsodium in Python 3.7.
The problem is that Salsa20 adds the Poly1305 MAC at the end, altering the size of the stream.
How can I use Salsa20 without MAC authentication in libnacl/libsodium?
