Hyperledger Composer throwing error “Failed to Connect before the deadline”

0

I was following this tutorial. And came across the error:

✖ Installing business network. This may take a minute...
Error: Error trying install business network. Error: No valid responses from any peers.
Response from attempted peer comms was an error: Error: Failed to connect before the deadline
Command failed

I am not sure why does that happen. I am following similar to this error, however, I am working with Composer V0.20 and the tutorial follows V0.19.5

  • That message suggests the composer-cli cannot communicate with the peer. So I would check that your fabric is up and running, that the urls defined in your connection profile are correct for that peer. Also if you are using TLS, you may want to try not using TLS first to see if you can connect successfully.
