Fix tslint warnings

How do I fix tslint warnings:

error typedef: expected arrow-parameter: 'item' to have a typedef

and

error no-string-literal: object access via string literals is disallowed

for the following code?

result = values.filter( item => item["Value"] !== "Yes");

On changing item["Value"] to item.Value, I see the error:

Property 'Value' does not exist on type 'object'

Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks in advance!

  • Possible duplicate of What does it mean when TsLint says "expected callSignature to have a typedef."
