How do I separate each alphabet in an image dataset using matlab?

enter image description here
This is alphabet image.

so I want to subtract alphabets and store them in matrix form.

Although it is possible with c ++ code, how does MATLAB code
I do not know.

If the programming language is C++, I can save the matrix of each number by truncating m * n using vector .

I do not know how to store each alphabet like vector when I cut the alphabet to 530 * 230.

How do I handle this?
