I have a web service on c# with communication with AS400. "Randomly" I'm getting this error:

All connections are closed after the query is done, but the error is still on. The only solution is restart the web service. What can I do or where can I look this error root. This is the method where the error is being generated:

I don't know exactly what is the meaning of the error code, beyond is a communication failure. If any can help in any way, I would appreciate it.

I think the core of your issues is your exception handling. Even in that little showncode there area lot of mistakes, like going on after Fatal Exceptions. Here are two articles on exception handling I link often: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/ericlippert/2008/09/10/… | codeproject.com/Articles/9538/…
