org.hibernate.exception.LockAcquisitionException: Due to STUCK thread in Weblogic12

We have deployed our application on Weblogic12c server and it runs on multi threads. In the flow, at the time of saving hibernate object using "getSession().saveOrUpdate(obj)" we are seeing "org.hibernate.exception.LockAcquisitionException: Could not execute JDBC batch update" exception". From the application logs we could see that thread which picked this operation went into STUCK mode. We are trying to understand is this because of something in Weblogic issue or somewhere else? and trying to understand why it's happening?
