I would like to use jenkins for netcore app deployment. netcore app will run in another server and jenkins run on different server. I build netcore app and send artifacts on ssh. On dotnetcore server I have run app on kestrel with command line dotnet run. But on jenkins I tried execute command line about dotnet run , with this jenkins cannot finish deployment because wait on console application(dotnet running). I tried to make with shell script and already have same issue. are there any idea about how to call dotnet run with jenkins ?

Can you elaborate a lot more? What did you exactly do? What is the exact problem? which commands are you running that show "dotnet running"? Why are you even runningdotnet run
on the jenkins server. A question like "any idea bout how to call dotnet run with jenkins" is just too broad to answer without context.

You should have your server setup to run the app as a service. Just calling dotnet run is not ideal as if the process crashes, your app goes down. Not knowing what your server type is etc, can't help much further.
