Changing nested dependencies with npm-shrinkwrap not working

I am trying to downgrade punycode@2.1.1
to the version 1.4.1
so I don't get errors in IE11. Punycode is required by uri-js, which was introduced into Angular 6, I think. I read, that I can overwrite nested dependencies via npm-shrinkwrap
. I created a shrinkwrap file, but that's where I got the first question. In this post the structure is shown like the following code, which doesn't look like the structure, which was generated in my file.
Code from other post:
{
"dependencies": {
"grunt-contrib-connect": {
"version": "0.3.0",
"from": "grunt-contrib-connect@0.3.0",
"dependencies": {
"connect": {
"version": "2.8.1",
"from": "connect@~2.7.3"
}
}
}
}
}
My file looks like this:
"@webpack-contrib/schema-utils": {
"requires": {
"ajv": "^6.1.0",
},
"dependencies": {
"ajv": {
"requires": {
"uri-js": "^4.2.1"
}
},
"punycode": {
"version": "2.1.1",
"resolved": "https://registry.npmjs.org/punycode/-/punycode-2.1.1.tgz",
"integrity": "sha512-XRsRjdf+j5ml+ycdscds/6GKHPZbrF/acdfskvdfs8p2Yga0JPtdqTIY2Xe5ohJPD9saDJJLPvfEd0A==",
"dev": true
},
"uri-js": {
"version": "4.2.2",
"resolved": "https://registry.npmjs.org/uri-js/-/uri-js-4.2.2.tgz",
"integrity": "sha512-KY9Frdmirdfssddd1X2Qgjry0Wd4Y+cdcmsdcmawelsdwemketEW4+0Baa5idK2ZQuEfsdvdfRwPznQ==",
"dev": true,
"requires": {
"punycode": "^2.1.0"
}
}
}
}
How do I need to structure my JSON, so I can change the version of punycode to 1.4.1
. What do I have to do with the integrity-codes, should I delete them before npm install
?
