Example data storage format for a spreadsheet

Excel uses xml for its data storage. As xml is similar to json, what would be a basic schema to store tab of a spreadsheet? For example:
The most basic format I can think of would be a list of json, like this:
# row_num: data
1: [
{
'rawValue': 'Name',
'displayValue': 'Name',
'type: 'String',
'format: '',
},
{
'rawValue': 'Age',
'displayValue': Age',
'type: 'String',
},
{
'rawValue': 'Birthdate',
'displayValue': Birthdate',
'type: 'String',
},
2: [
{
'rawValue': 'Bob Jones',
'displayValue': 'Bob Jones',
'type: 'String',
'format: '',
},
{
'rawValue': 4,
'displayValue': '4',
'type: 'Integer',
},
{
'rawValue': 48394847474,
'displayValue': 1/11/1974,
'type: 'Integer',
},
]
Does the above seem logical? What fields may I be missing in terms of storing the document data? For example, how may I know that the third column is a Number, but the fourth is a Date?

Without knowing exactly what your requirements are for this, it's more or less impossible to answer. One thing though - your raw value and format should be sufficient to derive the display value: you don't need all three.
