ChartJS shows xAxis labels from data that has dissapeared (angular2-chartjs)

0

I have a chart that shows data updated every 10 minutes, from -6h to +24h. This works as it should and has been running for the last week or so. On a screen that is not refreshed often, the labels for the xAxis are not disapearing. They seem to be just accumulating while the data is being removed and updated.

I'm unable to replicate the issue, since the data is so slow, and this screen has been running for several days already. (A refresh will fix it... for a couple of days that is...)

In order to update the chartData points aren't pushed and popped, the whole array is overwritten. (If this has anything to do with it)

this.chartOptions = {
scales: {
xAxes: [{
type: 'time',
position: 'bottom',
distribution: 'series',
scaleLabel: {
display: true,
labelString: 'Time'
},
time: {
unit: 'hour',
displayFormats: {
hour: 'HH:mm'
},
parser: 'MMM D, YYYY HH:mm'
}
}]
tooltips: {
mode: 'label',
callbacks: {
title: this.getTooltipTitle, // callback function
label: this.getTooltipLabel // callback function
}
}
