The alert dismisses although the server response false

I am new in ionic I use PHP API and MySQL database I want to check the email and password inside alert controller form I use provider to pass data to PHP api. Now the problem is here when I click on login button the input data pass to the provider and provider pass data PHP api I want that alert should be false up to time that response come server if response be false a error should be shown in inside alert but when I click alert dismiss how to solve this. Thanks
